International Women’s Day is held on March 8th every year as a symbol of remembering what women had to go through to receive  freedom . Back in the 1913’s women were treated horribly they were being violated of their rights , discriminated because of their gender , and unfairly treated . Finally all the women were sick of all of this and took charge in a rally during 1917 .Now , in modern day time , women all over the world celebrate this day with activities, music, and arts . In my opinion Women’s Day is a fabulous idea , considering how badly they were treated.
